Mentors and Elmers
Glen Warnstaff (K5CPD) has offered to host a demo, hands on, or open forum
discussion once a month for anyone who wants more information about Ham
Radio. To start off, he would like any one (novice or old timer) who has a question
to send it to him and he'll get an answer. If it takes a demo to help understand the
answer, then he'll try to arrange a demo. Glen will also bring back the Tech Talk
10 at the meetings and revive the weekly net in the future.
If you have expertise in one or more areas that you'd like to offer to the club,
contact Glen and he'll add you to the list of "Mentors and Elmers".
You can contact Glen with questions and to volunteer your expertise by sending
and e-mail to glenwarnstaff@yahoo.com or by phone at (214) 986-6803.
All of the old Tech Talk files are archived below. New files will be added
as questions are answered and new sessions are scheduled.
Note! You'll need to
right click the files and save them on your computer.
They may not display correctly if you try to open them directly from the web site.

The outline is not complete yet. I am still looking for presenters.
Bob Lancon, Steve Darrah, and Bren doreck have agreed to help present some of
the topics but I could still use more help. If you see a topic that you have some
knowledge of and would like to share your experiences let me know the subject and
the date you would like to present and I'm sign you up.
