A contingent of MARS members gathered in Tom Brewer’s hospital room to present a Lifetime Achievement Award for his many years of service to the Club and to amateur radio.
Club President Kevin Grantham, N5KRG, gave the award with Tom’s family and friends looking on.
Tom is one of the Club’s earliest members dating back to 1979 and a major mover in growing the Club. He’s served as President and as an Elmer to countless hams.
This is the first Lifetime Achievement Award from MARS and we congratulate Tom on this honor.
