Do you have audio issues? EchoLink comes with a nifty test server for you to check your sound.

Assuming you have your sound devices configured (Tools>Setup>Audio tab), drill into the Node Types tree to Conferences. Scroll down to find “*ECHOTEST* Audio test server.” Double-click (or right-click) to connect and transmit (press the SPACE bar) a test message. You’ll then hear your voice come back at you. Adjust your transmit and receive levels accordingly.

You can click and drag ECHOTEST to your Favorites folder for quick access next time you need it. That’s it.
